Bramleigh is a small scale diverse farm with a bio-intensive market garden for organic vegetables, pasture raised chicken and eggs, and forest raised pork. Our farm is run with an emphasis on living regeneratively; caring and protecting the natural resources while also building up the ecosystem, taking inspiration from nature. Self catering cottages offer eco-friendly, solar-powered country style accommodation in Fort Nottingham of the KZN Midlands, tucked between indigenous forest and rolling mountains.

Our farming enterprises are all designed with an emphasis on soil regeneration, improved biodiversity, organic and ethical practices by mimicking nature’s wisdom and genius. We produce pasture raised chicken, eggs, organic vegetables and forest raised pork in a way that protects and benefits both land and livestock. Our animals live outside having the ability to live and eat according to their natural design. Mobile shelters give the animals a cosy sleeping area but are also moved to provide fresh new forage and hygienic conditions – while also distributing natural fertiliser. Guided farm tours and explanations of our processes and practices by prior arrangement.

Our indigenous forest is the perfect place to appreciate nature and its intricately designed systems of flora and fauna, with over 200 species of birds, and age old Yellowwood trees. Meander through the forest, listen to bird song, watch Autumn leaves fall, evening runs through the valley, cycles along the mountain.

Our desire is to create a space for workshops and retreats. We have a particular focus on inspiring greater consciousness about the origins of food, living in symbiosis with nature, homesteading, self-sufficiency and mindfulness.
