The Garlick Cottage at Bramleigh Manor was the original Bramleigh house, built by Mr and Mrs Garlick. The vintage country style of this cottage has been preserved for an experience of the rich history of the home. The cottage offers a large bedroom (sleeps 2), a lounge with wood burning stove, full bathroom and fully-equipped kitchen as well as a patio overlooking the garden and forest.

Experience guilt-free, comfortable country accommodation, powered by the sun complete with electric blankets, energy efficient lighting and appliances, beneath the shelter of thatch insulation. Water is supplied from a forest stream, filtered and ready to drink, cool, straight from the tap. Natural cleaning products provide a fresh fragrance. Visit our chickens and geese who happily gobble any organic waste and provide rich fertiliser for our market vegetables in return.
Tucked away on a secluded hillside provides an ideal opportunity for a quiet, country getaway with no TV or cellphone signal. Although there is free high speed WiFi offered, we encourage you to disconnect and enjoy a ‘tech detox’. Enjoy soul-restoring walks through the indigenous forest, below age-old Yellowwood trees, the shySamango monkeys swinging above, abundant birdlife and calming streams. Walking trails through the grassland provide extensive views over the valley and mountains, possibly spotting a reedbuck, oribi and duiker. Or simply curl up with a book next to awood burning stove, relax on the patio and soak up the fresh country air, be soothed by nature.
